Description Tarot Card XIII - Death

At first, I was just going to do the Devil card, but then I decided to do a few more of my favorites. Again: why is it in German? Because I felt like it.

The background is one of my photos, but the Grim Reaper is a really nice stock I found with *mjranum-stock . The model is ~Rubiacaea , so a big thank you to both model and photographer.

Nice! Out of curiosity what was the background/where did you take it? It looks pretty cool. And the German is a cool touch.

The background is from the gardens at the Vanderbilt mansion in Hyde Park. My family and I stopped there on our way down to New Jersey to visit my Uncle, a trip we took at the beginning of the summer. I wanted it to look kind of like the Gates of Hell, so I figured an archway would be appropriate.

Ha, well it's a hard location to guess. There was a statue under the arch that I was thinking about doing something with, but I haven't gotten around to that yet.
