thanks so who said squid when i asked her what to draw xDmore of sai painter : P this was done spontaneously over 3-4 hours

I love the stunning effect of your squid-loving merman. The broad, streaming strokes of the colors add to the urgency of the "squid run". The shocking white of his body next to the cold blue surrounding him and his vibrant, red hair add excitement to the composition. Well done! - but I need to ask, what media did you use? (Looks to be a gauche of some sort.) Is this a traditional painting or digital enhancement?

i used sai painter which is a recently developed cg program that is more for creating paintings then editing photos (like photoshop), the brushes are WAY smother and it is only a fraction of the cost
i want to try creating a piece in similar style but but painting (oil preferably)it's the only medium that would give me enough time before it dries to muck around in the same way i did here xD

join the club, right now all i have for an actual budget is enough money to buy that wintery 09 head off of agent panda and to also buy a new mp3 player ether then that the rest is going to conventions and my camera for my big art projects that i can not scan

that's way more then i have, i have like... 40$ and that's a stretch xD! i wish i had money for an mp3 player ;____;! my current one has less then 2GB and a life of about an hour on a battery (so you need to make sure you have at least 2 with you lol
