Description Sculpey, wire, tinfoil, paint, glue, fur fabric, glass eyes, cotton wool and probably some other stuff I have forgotten.
Looks better in the flesh as always
An otri is a small creature, which at its full height is barely a foot tall. It is generally nocturnal (hence the big eyes) and had bat like hearing. It feeds mainly on insects and berries and is very shy, living mainly around the roots of large trees.

My, I don't know what to think of your little creatures, they're adorable, but a little creepy looking at the same time. They do look extremely well done though. The poses you put them in are great.

The eyes are glass doll ones- he doesn't have a mustache but the whiskers are pieces of fishing wire glued into holes pushed in the clay

Amazingly cool! I love the multi-media approach to it. It almost looks lifelike. And the sculpture detail is excellent; you obviously have a good grasp of anatomy. It's just awesome. I hardly ever see anything like this on DA.

beautiful work, i like how you used the fur in your sculptures. Would it be wrong for me to ask how you fasten the clay onto the fur/fabric for your stuffed peices?

thanks
Feel free to ask
I bake the clay on a wire armature (only the head, feet and hands)
I then cover the wire in cotton wool and glue on fur then sew it on
for the join between hair and clay I just use a little more glue and flatten the hair onto the clay

aww it's so cute ^_^ I gotta

You wouldn't know any online shops with glass eyes would you?
I am sick and tired of plastic eyes cracking in the oven and I can't seem to find glass eyes anywhere

This is actually a taxidermy supplier, but they have got some awesome small eyes.
I haven't baked my eyes yet, so I don't know how they fair. They have paint on the back of them. I'm kinda nervous about it.

sorry, but I get them from a local shop- the eyes are actually discontinued items now
I suggest looking on ebay, teddy bear making sites or taxidermy sites
