Yay for Ball Pythons xDI might make this into a t-shirt xD
Feel free to download and use, but it would be nice to see pictures of what you did with it. And please give credits
Edit
Obviously people keep re-uploading that without giving credit so I'm adding a watermark and disable the downloads. If you are interested in getting it on a shirt or something, please note me so I can send you the fullview image.

adorable. but they can just eat rats, sometimes. and can still get internal damage from that even when they are the right size, Most dogs for sure can eat a ball python. some cats I'm sure are capable, especially older (and pissed off!) ones.
No snake hate i love em! and this image has actully gotten really popular, i see it on blogs and everytime i look up Ball pythins anywhere
I'm glad to see the artist that made it. and to finally let go of these little nit picks that bother me when i come across it X3

Yepp, bps won't eat anything bigger than rats, it was just meant to be a joke ;3
On the other hand, retics or burmeses would actually be able to lunch cats and small dogs if you let them xD
I didn't know it was popular, actually xD I saw someone use it on facebook (sadly without giving credits, I think that's the bad thing about uploading stuff without watermark, I wanted it to be free-to-use, not stolen lol) but not anywhere else yet

just read the saddest snake ad!
"I have a 3 year old female who was a rescue. She was almost eaten alive by rats when her previous owner fed her while she was shedding. I have nursed her back to health and wanted to keep her as she is very docile and sweet. My new neighbors are afraid of my snake they think she might eat their dog???...even though she is in a locked aquarium inside my locked apartment. Either way...the manager will not let me keep her and I cannot afford to move at this time."
they can keep a dog and not a snake the poor thing

Yes, that's right, sadly... It's strange, how many people still think snakes are slimy or wet and are scared because of that. My mom used to be afraid of snakes too, until she got to handle mine and learned, that he's pretty nice and neither aggressive, nor 'evil' xD

i dont get that. people who are hyper afraid of nature. "oh my god, does it smell? is it gunna bite?" the simple answer is "what would you do in its position?" A bee wont sting you just because its flying around. a fish doesnt smell if you clean the tank and it does not want to nibble or bite your fingers when you stick em in a tank. AND IF U GET BITTEN BY A SNAKE YOU PROBABLY HURT ITS TEETH! GAAAAAHHHH!!!!! someone eh (i realise this is becoming a big rant. feel free to skim over this hehe) "oh my god i'd give you my snake it is so mean my son left it. its so aggressive" "How often do you handle it? Just when your feeding?" "Yes, just when I'm feeding it." "That's why, they need to be handled." *she frowns and shuts up* .....eh..that poor...snake......EH!!!!

Pestdoktor In reply to DancingInTwilight [2014-04-06 23:03:07 +0000 UTC]
That's right, yet there are some snakes that are just more agressive than others. I helped in a herp-shop some time and I almost got bitten by the tree boa of a friend, just because I stood in its way xD I also heard that green tree pythons and blood pythons are somewhat snappish (No own experiences here). On the other hand, Boa Constrictor, Ball Pythons or cornsnakes are usually quite nice fellows that won't bite you and are rather calm)
Though I agree with you, that it's the humans fault most of the time (And I would never get angry if a snake bit me because they're not mean but simply still 'wild animals'), there are indeed differences in their natural behaviour.
I'm really lucky with my bp though. He's absolutely friendly and never even tried to bite me. Not even after feeding-time

Shakir came from someone who didn't really take care of him. He was very thin, when he came to the breeder, who rescued reptiles too. But he gave him a quiet, warm box in a quiet corner, where he could recover from the stress and lots of rats to gain some weight and when I visited him, I actually wanted to buy a baby ball python, but then I fell in love with Shakir xD He was two years when I got him, now he's here for more than a year and he became a great pet He isn't afraid or easy to stress at all, he's very curious and never tried to bite. I think, 'second-hand-animals' deserve a chance too :3 What's the name of yours? :3

Naomi came from an abuser who never really took care of her at all. She had to live that way from birth to about 3 months old. Someone rescued her and brought her to Mike, a guy who helps recover reptiles and sell them. She was really skinny, and still has a lot of growing to do. I held her in the shop, but she didn't snap or anything like that. I was originally there to get a corn snake..But I got two before that and they died right when I took them home. And she was really pretty :3

I prefer pythons and boas over corn snakes and such, I like their body build better and their personality, for they're usually not that... nervous xD
