Description This is a figure from Rackham's Cadwallon line.  I saw a tutorial by Sebastian Archer a number of years ago where he painted this guy in shaded metallics, and I just loved the figure.  So I bought a few copies.  :-p

This isn't done with shaded metallics, however.  Instead, it's done in the Non-Metallic Metal style, which I feel pretty comfortable with.

Amazing. Superb. I play D&D (sadly using 4e currently) and GURPS as well, but I am SO pathetic when it comes to being artistic that I use a thumbtack which I have applied some silver tin foil to so it looks "fancy." : - /

In my climate, it's pretty difficult to do any wet blending, though I have tried it a bit.  For the most part, I'm layering, but I use a wet palette, and mix colors there, so I have a very broad range of colors that I can use to smooth out the blends.

Perfectly sited.  Colour choice is gorgeous and, of course, it goes without saying that the brushwork is smooth as ever.
