My favorite part of that trail. I spent my last two summers working in at Lake Mcdonald and you captured this very well.

Thanks very much. Β Even though this was my fourth time in Glacier, this was the first time I went up this trail. Β I'm not going to make the mistake of missing it again. Β It was wonderful.
I know some people have been put off by how I've pushed the saturation of the colors here, but the thing is, when I remember the gorge, this is what I see in my mind. Β

Truly though. The water is so blue against the reddish rock. I remember the first time I saw a picture of rocks in the shallow water on the shores of Lake McDonald and I didn't believe that the rocks were actually that color and the water so clear... but it really is.
