A collaboration between aeiko and rarzWell its been a year in the making (seriously)..but here it is..

Artificial Evolution is a classic topic of artificial life.
I am interested in understanding the principles of biological evolution; in the spirit of the synthetic methodology, the understanding of biological phonomena can be greatly enhanced by trying to mimic or model aspects of the biological system..
Evolution has worked pretty well for biological systems, so why not apply it to the systems that control robots?
Evolutionary computing has been tapped to produce coherent robot behavior in simulation, and real robots have been used to evolve simple behavior like moving toward light sources and avoiding objects. As technology advances who knows what we will see...maybe this image is a reference to the future...complete artificial life....a life that has evolved.
Hope you guys enjoy it, its the last one of the series and it was good to work with jerico again..

Doesn't quite meet the high standards set by the predecessor in regard to composition and overall "flow".
..but as for the real critique: a power button as a nipple is more than tacky!

I know what you mean. I was all over this type of design in 2004 but then I steadily lost interest. The only ones that catch my eyes now are ones that are really well done -- such as this one.
Not exactly sure which one I like more; it's been a while since I've looked at the first one so I'd have check it out again.

I think the blending could have been much better guys. I just want to be honest, because I notice a lot of mistakes like missing shadows and completely different quality of stock images. I understand that it's hard to find ones with the same quality, but some just too obvious.
Nice attempt though, just more work and care could have been inputted.

I think we got bored in the end, and probably rushed a few parts, i mean we started this over a year ago, then just lost interest, maybe un-motivated, maybe too busy..but its finished in the end

how did this take a year? procrastination/busy? i know what it's like, atm i'm doing a drawing, it's taken me about 2 months and all i've done is an eye nose and chin. and the image is only A4.. i've just been too busy..

yea i agree with sombody above that said its lacking a certain composition point that the other one had. however, i like this one better because it doesnt look as busy and flat, instead it flows well.
