This one has been on my head for a looong time, but it has born as an entirely diferent deviation...again. I'd say I thing this is the best model I've done ever, but judging is visitor's work, right?
Some Ci-Fi background on the model:

Well this one was inspired mostly by ergo proxy, but the main theme changed over time to a more clean approach...
I also used references from both puppet master from GITS and terminator, and of course lots of blade runner quotes as a mind-nourishment.
The eyes texture is a Canon EOS400D lens ^_^
Made starting form a poser mesh and reconverting it into my Deus Ex Machina model on 3D Max/Mental ray, just standard lighting.
Actually this model is a WIP for another project (the Ergo proxy-like scene...) but I just love it as is, so enjoy! ^_^

I haven't seen "I, robot" yet, maybe it's because I like too much the Asimov book, and I'm afraid that movie would spoil the original robot concept I had for years...
But I'm watching some NS-5 screenshots and wallpapers, and I think I can use some elements on this one, thanks! ^_^
About the hair, I've been wondering how to do some ciberpunk hair, and I've come to a conclusion, some cable wiring does the trick, maybe glowing optical thingies, or not hair at all, droids are not supossed to have hair at all, are they? I love the way the puppet master looks, but it's too futuristic for this model, call it a "retro-futuristic-model-with-no-retro-inspiration-at all"

Yep, exactly that type of hair, the only thing I need is some clue of doing fiberoptic wiring effects with mental ray ^_^U

Certainly is one of your best (i think nothing less of the others) and her features are really close to perfection. The white material looks less flexible than the rubberish material i think you're going for because of the high reflection, but it could be an all new glossy material
I feel it's a really long jump in the right direction from the Pepper magazine cover you did a while back and I really want to see the end product!

The reflections are there because it's like it's being assembled, and all the parts are shiny and smell like a brand new plastic toy ^_^
I also want to see it, because this time the theme is really strong, maybe this time I can combine successfully skill and feeling in a single scene ^_^
Everytime i have a good idea, I lack of the skills, everytime I have the skills, the idea is plain and boring...

I tried to make if as a functional as I could, even the materials have different uses, the blue mmetallic parts are meant to be alluminium alloy, and the white parts are meant to be of latex of another rubberlish but strong material for letting the bot move the arms and things.
I care for my robots, if they cannot move, they're not robots, thery're just normal computers...
Oh, if someone makes this, I don't wanna be the one to actually wire the thing, it's a royal pain...

Yep, the background is really cheap, mainly because I didn't finish the main proyect on this model, this is like a robot presentation, a WIP if you prefer ^_^U
