Definately amazing colors and piece in general. Really mindnumbingly real.. but the 2D is a little on overkill. Still wonderful, though.

too much useless 2d, it doesnt have any function in this one. Altho the enviromental feeling is awsome! Its quite an unique technique to create enviroments like this with only brushing, so good job. But i think the 2d doesnt add something to it. Also i think the material of the render isnt fitting with the material 'feeling' of the enviroment.
But i must say its a very intrigating piece, good job

s**t son! this is STUNNING! my favorate part is the dust/mist in the air and the way it is disturbed and caught up and shaped by the electric bold! looks soo convincing and the tones are amazing. 2D also works well

Wonderful job with the different dark greens, and the beam looks very beautiful. 'Catalyst' is also a perfect name for this; I'm not quite sure what's happening in this, but it just fits really perfectly.
