Amazing!
A need to escape fromΒ bad memories? Hard past? Tell me. That image is very powerful. Like anything you create it's very psychoanalytical. Your art is a cry for help if I may say, hope there's no offence in my comments.

I was part of that "face your avatar" movement but I do miss Spongebob. I think I'll put him back, just for you I suggested this piece for a DD, we'll see what happens

Am flattered by the considered spongbob dedication..
Thanks for the DD suggestion, though have you noticed how the standard has gone down? ..

A place of painful bliss to retire to. Seems to be a both restrictive and expansive place, restriction in putting the faces within the boundaries of dead tile, expansion in duplicating them. The seagull adds air and freedom, theres almost a Nordic feel to it. To me its a positive quirky painting.

restrictive as in conformity, and expansive as there is plenty of company, duplicates as you say, with the shared painful bliss that ensues, yes, the seagull is freedom.. one of my 2012 awakening paintings.. why nordic?

Its the seagull I guess, and the clean sterility of the tiles. Also Scandinavians are much into conformity, they look and act the same,
theres not much room for individual eccentric traits. Hence the Nordic feel

aah, so thats why bjork sings ' I thought I could organise freedom, how scandinavian of me'.......

I'm not the world's biggest believer in collective consciousness, but the title accurately describes last night's dream.
I appreciate the comparatively minimalist design in this piece.
