Sonic Boom Baby! This is the Turbokat, the main vehicle used 'SwatKats' a cartoon series from the 90's I enjoyed imensly, if you haven't seen it and are into cartoons and anime I recommend you check it out. Though it was a kids show it did seem to have several elements to the characters young adults can relate to, such as holding down two jobs in order to pay off debt and make a living while trying to do what you actually want top spend the rest of your life doing as well as dealing with authority figures who are either A: totally inept and have to have their assistants do all the work (the Mayor) or B: simply have a stick up their ass (commander Farrel).

Anyway this was done using a 3D model of the jet I had made earlier, its knocking about somewhere in my portfolio, and doing a lot of brushwork in Photoshop. I could not stop myself making jet noises while working on this, I think I'm still making them now.
