Description So yesterday, some of you may have heard that Hawaii was supposed to get soaked by a huge tsunami due to the chille earthquake.

So in stead i spent the day with my family and decided to color this one for the portfolio. Turns out the tsunami did hit us but about half the size it was it expected too.

Cnn has better coverage then my local news, all those pretty graphics and smart talking news casters.


As for spiral...
Spiral, never could play her that well in children of the atom but her animation was so sick!

and for her costume design....
I always like this version of spiral instead of the new version with the hood. The hoods a great design but this one just classic.

So classic i tweaked it a little lol.

Usually, I'm not a big fan of mixing traditional styles with things like outerglow blending effect, but dang. You pulled it off perfectly. Very well done, and very interesting style.

Spiral is in the X-men The Animated Series. Her first appearance (in that cartoon) has her working for Mojo. An ugly multi-dimensional TV producer that kidnap the X-men and force them to fight for the amusement of everyone in that dimension.

Spiral possess a bunch of powers, like teleportation, shape shifting, telekinesis, and probably anything you can think of. She initiates powers through dance.


God the original X-men were so fucking weird, but so fucking cool.

That is crazy! Your teleporting effect is amazing; both in the lineart and the colouring. You're drawn her hands outstandingly. I love that they all have little variations. The piece has great overall flow. Great stuff!
