So yesterday, some of you may have heard that Hawaii was supposed to get soaked by a huge tsunami due to the chille earthquake.So in stead i spent the day with my family and decided to color this one for the portfolio. Turns out the tsunami did hit us but about half the size it was it expected too.
Cnn has better coverage then my local news, all those pretty graphics and smart talking news casters.
As for spiral...
Spiral, never could play her that well in children of the atom but her animation was so sick!
and for her costume design....
I always like this version of spiral instead of the new version with the hood. The hoods a great design but this one just classic.
So classic i tweaked it a little lol.

Spiral is one of my favorite characters... I was always hoping that she'd join the X-men (along with all the other villains, such as Callisto, Juggernaut, Magneto, Mystique, Lady Mastermind, Frenzy, Sabretooth, and even briefly Lady Deathstrike). You've done a beautiful job capturing her motion and magic.

I whole-heartedly agree with all of your comments about Spiral, though I'm a little more skeptical of the hooded costume. WTF? How can you ignore the badass helmet and fluffy boots? it's the dopest shit of time! Also, your artwork here has stolen my heart. Nice work, homes.

Beautiful! Spiral is such an underrated character, she deserves more than she gets. I have a feeling she could be Shatterstar's mother tbh, back when she was still Rita, but thats kinda random that I sat that lol I hope Peter David writes her

I saw this at the bottom of the page, thought; "Is that Spiral -- IT IS!" She's definitely a character who sticks in my mind from 'Longshot' and the 80's in general. Glad to see her!
