His one and only loss is to Cannonball as far as I know. Gladiators powers are based off of his "faith/courage". CB tricked him into doughting himself when he was attacking him causing that moment of doubt that triped his powers off longenough for CB to knock Gladiator out seconds before Scott and Hank arrived to help him. Gladiator forgot that Cannonball had been the leader of the New Mutans befor moving up to the X-men and was regularly found training in the Danger Room or reviewing the X-Mens extensive files on both villian and team members powers and weknesses!
