Description
This is an oil painting from a photographer's self portrait (Santina). I found it on Deviantart and asked her permission to use the image. It was such an enigmatic look... not sure if she was sad, thoughtful, lonely or amused. Her expression had me captivated for ages.The original photograph: [link]

This is beautiful, I love the muted colors. I'm also really pleased that you sought out the original photographer and requested permission to paint from her work; a lot of people simply think they're just entitled to directly reference another's work without acknowledging the original artist.

This is beautiful. I love how it looks, and I can agree with you on her looks. Her expressions seems to be mixed together, the picture is simple but the emotions flooding through give it a more complex feel. Amazing job!
