How many moments would I need to steal,
To experience every dream we've ever captured,
To erase every doubt we've ever had.
To wrap up memories within a box to keep with me,
During those cold and restless nights,
When time for us was through.

How many years would it take to experience,
Every kiss we've ever shared.
Every gaze we've ever exchanged during moments,
Both heated and enraptured;
Passionate and wistful.
So that I could memorize each and every one,
For when your eyes were far from mine.

I dare say,
Fate would not allot me the time needed,
To finally feel complete enough,
To let you go, content only to see you within reverie.
Because such a task would be impossible.
