from whence the avatar comes. artist cris griffin deserves all credit due for the portrait. she is the one who painted it. i possess no artistic aptitude of which to speak that is not literary.now, this is especially for those viewing eyes of the seer as it had been created to be its cover image. once upon a time, this immortal gentleman was a vampire assassin. you will shortly see what i mean by that.

Ooo. Emerald green eyes. Quite sharp, and yes, I saw this as "cover art" immediately. Or a movie poster! The sad thing is, the title would go right where the words are, and we'd not see that as shown here. But it is a fab piece, and very nice for you!

Oh, lord... now I'd really hate to run into him/you in a dark ally.
Now, I'm really keen to reading your dark tales as the immortal, blood hungry assassin... again. And for some reason... your dark side thrills me and I don't know if thats a good or dab thing. Or it could be how you swing that long blade of yours!
The paint job is just incredible, it's looks so life-like and the look in your eyes... I could just almost jump out of my own skin.

Exceptional indeed! If I didn't know better I'd almost think it was a photo. But I'm sure that you and pictures ... well.
