in light of suggestions given to me by people here and elsewhere, i amended my previous idea. changed the paper and the blood and found a knife that is much more to my liking. not that i would not or could not use the other. but this one tugged at my heartstrings.
i have this up on my website now and have fixed the links on that page. now, to fiddle with the rest of the website.
