This is just a small tweak, but I decided to share it here anyway. I was worried the tail would have ended up just a smidge too short, which is why I've added a pleat's worth of extra length to it here. (Top left corner) That led me to learn how I could add very paper-efficient pleats to the abdomens of arthropods. Other people have done this before, but it's a first for me again, and an important one for future use. I've decided to hide this extra pleat in this model though, because this is a tail, not a segmented abdomen, so I wanted to keep it smooth. The pleat is going to be covered by a small flap that would have been there regardless.
