I've read once that if you want to be a tree you must to : stand confident and upright, grow Β your branches , don't forget your roots drink a lot of water Β , be happy with your Β natural Β beauty and enjoy the view. I am still trying I hope I will be a tree soon.

was this done using film exposures or did you use a photomanipulation program, or some other mysterious method of which i am as yet ignorant?
your pictures are (so far, the ones i have seen) so wonderfully, beautifully hushed, so still and chilly-wind-in-one's-hair that you remind me all over again why autumn is my favorite season each time your shutter snaps...

This was done in Photoshop. It's just two pictures taken under the exact same circumstances - one with me in it, and one without, then I just blended and faded the layers to give it that transparent, ghostlike effect.
And yes, the man in the pictures is me. For the simple reason that I'm always around when I need a model (...and I'm cheap, and always do as I say

You should try to use yourself as a model. Most people don't like their looks, I was uncomfortable too when I began to step in front of the camera, but so far I haven't broken any mirrors or made anyone throw up.
