Description
I like spiders, and I feel sorry for them. They are the good guys: They eat pesky bugs (1 spider = 2 000 fewer bugs in your house/year), they are shy and avoid humans, they don’t attack or bite, very few are dangerous (unless you live in Australia, where even the comfy chairs are venomous), and even then the survival rate of a venomous spider bite is 99%. But the normal human reaction to even the tiniest spider is, of course: “OMG! KILL IT WITH FIRE!!!” But recent arachnophobia research has shown that it’s not the being bitten-factor that scares, but the “legginess”, “speediness” and the “sudden movement”. I get that, that’s exactly why I’m afraid of tap dancersRelated content

I love spiders I think they're very cute and I love the spider web it's one of the most beautiful things in the world and I didn't hurt any a spider before ... especially with fire .. actually I haven't seen anyone never do it .. or heard anyone say that.
Generally I like insects except cockroaches (luckily I have not seen one for a long time) I can't stand this insect It's ..It's .. awful! but I didn't kill one never before.
that is a very beautiful picture.

The "Kill it with fire"-thing is an internet meme, ifunnyweb.com/wp-content/uploa…
I really dont understand this fear of spiders. They are so small and harmless, and do so much good. Kittens are way more dangerous. But of course, phobias are never rational.
It's too cold here for cockroaches, and I'm glad, because I dont like them either. Not sure why they're creepier than other insects. Maybe it's their speed, and that there are so many of them.

Not only the speed and the large number, but also that it is fly and swim and not affected by radiation and can live without a head for a period of time (I'm not sure that this is true, I was too scared to check it ) .... It's the perfect beast!

One good thing about cockroaches is that frogs and toads eat them, and frogs & toads are endangered species, so it's good if they have a lot to eat.

What a cute, little spider!
I'm glad for spiders in my house, we have made an agreement, they can live wherever they want, eat flies and mosquitos as many as they want but don't come to my bed at night. It works, so far
If you have had sad evening, I'm sending you a picture of a happy spider:

I have the same agreement, and it works like a charm. They like the bathroom best (I guess it's because it's an excellent spider restaurant with a lot of silverfish on the menu), and I have seen many generations of spiders live there. Including both mating and a bunch of new hatched, tiny baby-spiders.
And thank you for that spider-pic, it was very cute.

Here's the same. Spiders took control over my bathroom but I haven't seen any families, only outsiders
Arachnophobia sounds like a quite normal kind of fear, especially compared with the most weird phobias I have ever heard of:fear of smile/ book/ idea/ knees and fear of peanut butter sticking to the top of the mouth

I'm thinking of those poor people having barophobia - fear of gravity - they can only feel safe in space (unless they have astrophobia as well).
