Description Good things with living close to the sea: Duh, it’s the sea! It’s beautiful, serene, majestic, healing, and if you put your fingers in the water perhaps someone else on the other side of the world is doing the same, and you are both connected by touching the same sea.
Bad things with living close to the sea: The wind. Every day is a gravity defying hair day.

You look good with wind in your hair, it suits you even if you don't like it

And the sea...I envy you living close to the sea, it's beautiful, majestic and romantic at any time of the year. Perfect place to sit, talk and build castles in the air...( I think it's from "Dracula" )

Thank you!
I'm getting used to my messy hair by now. And as many of my male friends the same age as me tell me: "At least you have hair left that can be messed up"
I took a lot of evening walks by the sea this summer. And it always quietened my chatty mind. It's a beautiful remedy for many things.

I like your idea of connecting across such a distance. The idea of being on the same wavelength and having that tenuous tactile connection between strangers is classically romantic. And as for the wind, you handle it with aplomb and use it to great advantage. Beautiful, as always.

Thank you!
I like to see the world as one big neighbourhood we all live in. And that we all are connected in one way or another.
There's this crazy, but wonderful concept called "Earth Sandwich" - you find a place with an antipode (places that are connected by a straight line running through the centre of the Earth), then find someone on the other side of the Earth to team up with, then you both put a slice of bread on the ground at the exact same moment, and voilá - an Earth Sandwich!

Lol, I like it. I have this strange thing about straddling borders, something about the illusion of being in two places at once.

Oh, wind really annoys me, messing up my hair... But wind is nice for emotional/dramatic portraits.

It's so damn windy here I think my dramatic portrait-style is purely a result of that. If I lived in a calm place I would probably take pictures of kittens, sunsets and my lunch.
And speaking of messy hair - awesome waffle curls today!

Well ... as a person who also like taking photos from the side, it's thinkable I appreciate that in other people's photos. This photo is so touching. The expression.
May I just point out that your hairstyle is gorgeous, as if your hair refused to accept gravity law. It always look so dynamic and wild

Thank you! But I'm not sure I would call it a hairstyle - style implies that it's intentional. The "dynamic" look is just what happens when I'm out in the wind (and this is after I've tried to make it stay put with a bucket of hairspray). But I think I've made my perpetual wild, gravity defying-bad hair days made trade mark by now. As they say "If you can't hide it, flaunt it!"

Oh, and I believe the expression in this picture is "Damn it's cold! Is it spring soon?"
