Hundreds - or, more likely, thousands - of pounds of rock salt were put down this winter on our street, which is Woodside Drive. This abstract of cracked asphalt and evaporated rock salt was captured near the southern end of Woodside, where it intersects with Grand Street - which is more well-known as Pine Island Turnpike.
