Description
A look at the Fire Island Lighthouse, from a raised viewing platform at the junction of Burma Road and the u-turn at the eastern end of the Robert Moses State Parkway. The pedestrian beach access boardwalk extends from the eastern end of field 5, crosses Burma Road, and then proceeds 7/10's of a mile to the lens building and the lighthouse. The walk continues east, amongst the dunes for 15 more miles to the end of Dune Walk.
