The photograph looks very sharp, that is great!
However, I think that it would have looked better if you used a bigger aperture, as the contrast in the background is drawing away attention from the focal, in this case, the grasshopper, which decreases the focal value.
Furthermore, the photograph is somewhat over-exposured.
Noticeable is that some parts of the spiky plants around the grasshopper are completely white.
As I said before, the main issue is the small aperture.
Just a little note to improve the composition: crop those two spines on the upper-right side.
