Slate mosaic, located in the walkway leading to the boardwalk at Jones Beach State Park, N.Y. This section of the mosaic depicts the western third-most portion of Long Island and illustrates the relationship of Massapequa - where I reside - to Jones Beach and the barrier islands that line and protect Long Islands' southern shoreline.Photo cropped, autoadjusted for levels and saturated in Photoshop.
