Description
Inspired by the song of the same title, by Jimmy Webb. It was first recorded by Richard Harris, in 1968 - who consistently, and incorrectly, sang it as "MacArthur's Park." After failed attempts during re-takes to have Mr. Harris sing it in the singular (MacArthur Park) Mr. Webb gave up, and the song was released with Richard Harris singing "MacArthur's Park."This image was originally created as "Purple Swirl" many years ago. I re-edited and re-named it last night.
