Description
It was time for a break from pictures of Sandy's aftermath. So I took advantage of some time away from Seaford, on the storm-savaged south shore of Long Island, and went to Sagamore Hill for a few hours. We're staying in a hotel on the tonier North Shore for six more days, and after that we'll be in a different hotel, in Farmingdale, for another 18 days. We're planning on getting away from both Long Island and work for four days to the Catskills, immediately after checking out on the 13th. Seeing mountains instead of piles of rubbish will be a welcome change.
