The Old Fort Madison reminds me of abandoned forts-kind of like the one I saw during my trip to Baltimore, MD last year. We went to Fort McHenry and explored there forts. I remember seeing the employees acting out The Civil War or War of 1812-not sure which one, but it was The Fort McHenry Museum. Did you go inside Old Fort Madison? Were you allowed to explore it? I really like the way this fort looks. I have no idea which war this fort was used in, but I am sure it is pretty cool. You did a great job taking a photo of this fort and the scenery.
