Description
In this image, the substance vital to life in all its known forms - water - exists in two of it's three states, as a liquid and as a solid. As a liquid, it appears as condensed droplets, covering the surface of this window. In it's solid state, it forms the out of focus background - a blanket of wind-swept snow - on the ground outside this indoor pool and spa.

This photo was captured Saturday morning in Fairfield, Iowa; while the temperature outside was nearly arctic, at about 5 degrees Fahrenheit, the climate inside of this room was semi-tropical.
