Description
It was Tuesday, December 28th, 2010; two days after last weeks' blizzard. My girlfriend Sally called me, after she got to work, to make me aware of this incongruous scene. I took my camera with me, as I went to run some errands, but I passed right by this house - the first time - without remembering to stop and snap a shot.

I had to return home, whilst running said errands, as I'd forgotten something. On my second pass by I remembered what she'd told me. I stopped and squeezed off one shot, from the far side of the street.

After finishing my errands - and after bouncing off a curb, while negotiating a sharp, still snow-covered curve in the road - I stopped one last time, to take this second and last image.
