hahah you have? CXX it's a good thing you do cause i really don't miss that thing xD It takes forever to finish! Aughhh! Its an eternity of despair!!

I looked through your new stuff too, and i see an improvement already ma'am! ^^ I really liked em. It does inspire me. "The Badlands of Hypnagogia" which you told you were so discontent with, was probably my favorite of them all CX It had such an unique mixture of different visuals, and brilliantly composed in my opinion. It feels like you must have been high when you made it, because i can't quite grasp where all the ideas came from xD I like when you do your really mysterious stuff. Guess that's why i am a surrealist.

To be fair though the other works were reeally interesting themselves too. "The Wanderer's March" should get cred for being so fucked up not to say the least XD Yes I literally said "THEFUCK??" when i saw it xD In a good and inspiring way of course!

It's so worth it though! All that hard work pays off in the end, you look at it and it's like....holy crap...I could walk right into that and get lost for a week o.o
Your textures and colors always blow me away, all just kind of works together like a well oiled machine.

You think so? I think when you watch something happen so gradually like I do, it's difficult to tell if you've made any improvement or not. I feel like its slowly getting a little easier to transfer what's in my head to whats on paper more accurately, but whether that pays off visually or not I have no way of really being the judge...I always try to take personal satisfaction with a grain of salt..
I'm glad you like Badlands though! I'm more mad at the paper than anything..thought I'd give watercolor paper a try...never again..XD Horrible texture. A lot of times you have these ideas in a little metaphorical vault, and you try them and try them again and they just don't work out, I guess that one was a conglomeration of a bunch of ideas that didn't work until then...but thats how it goes..everything works in its own perfect timing..

Ha ha! XD Glad it could get an...audible reaction, ...don't think that's ever happened before >w<
Thanks so much man, definitely makes me feel good to know you think I've improved ^^ That's definitely very good news..

In your case, i am most certain i see improvement, and that improvement for me is most visible in your compositions. It is indeed something gradual though. You have allways had your ways of making intriguing compositions, so it can be hard to tell! But for the long run you definately seem to work them out more fluidly, as the goodies seem to come more frequently. I don't allways get interested in your works, but as your talent for what you do progresses my interest as a viewer does too. Compositions doesn't allways end out the way you want them, but for me you are improving in creating them. Keep up the good work ma'am!

Yes sir!
and you too! I can already see a huge difference just in your color alone. I can see those subtle hints of abnormal color popped in that really give it all a good kick..that's something I struggle with myself..I love when you're looking at something and it really just has this great energy about it, then you get closer to it and you see all these greens and these blues and reds kind of quietly lying underneath, and it just works. It's so difficult to get over that mental block of "this is a rock, it has to be brown." or "this is a face, I have to use peach" or green tree, blue water, grey shading if it's white, whatever...its tough to break that thought pattern, but once you break through it, you start seeing things explode with a warmth and an energy...it's a really cool feeling, and I can definitely see that going on in your new stuff a lot more :]
It's awesome dude...just keep doing your thing! XD

It feels good to know it's appreciated! The colors i mean ^^ I have had this fixation for orange, red and yellow. [link] <- this work makes a good example of that xD

The truth is, i didn't really think that much about contrasts in colors until somewhere last year when by chance a teacher told me about it. You know- how they tend to compliment each other. I didn't really pay attention when we had lessons about color earlier. Now that i understand more about how colors compliment each other i have started experimenting a lot more. I do vary a lot more so to speak ^^

I know I definitely tend to lean more toward certain color combinations myself...its almost annoying sometimes XD
Mine are orange and purple, and brown and blue/green
It's kinda funny, you grow up noticing how certain colors work really well together, like red and blue, but then once you get into it you start seeing that all of it seems to follow patterns in the color wheel and stuff..its kinda funny...also kind of annoying because I pick up on it almost instantly, sucks the wonder out of it a little bit sometimes X3;
It's definitely a useful thing to have a grasp on though, super helpful..
