There's a lot in those roots that can lend to the imagination. It's also amazing that the tree apparently lived so long before giving in to the elements.

There are a lot of these casuarina trees uprooted after successive hurricanes. They are hardy and tolerant to the salt and so have taken over the coastlines in many areas of The Bahamas. I'm glad you allowed your imagination to wander!
