Cover art from El Pasao De Betty Bell (loosely translated as "The Passing Of Betty Bell," or perhaps "The End Of Betty Bell"), a 1981 novel by Clark Carrados. Published by Bolilibros Servicio Secreto, No.1620. Clark Carrados is one of the pseudonyms used by Luis Garcia Lecha (1919-2005), an amazingly prolific writer of over 2000 (!!!!!) Spanish-language novels and movie scripts across a number of genres. He was based in Barcelona, and in the 1960s wrote a lot for Bruguera, a huge company that produced almost everything written for the Spanish-speaking world.
I'm uncertain of the publishing date. Some information I've seen suggested 2017, more than a decade after Lecha passed away, so I'm a little suspicious.
BTW: There was a real Dr. Betty Bell, who was an archaeologist in Mexico in the later years of the 20th-century and lived and researched in Ajijic, Mexico. She had a number of publications in the field. There appears to be some evidence that she died in an automobile accident in Ajijic.
