Description This is part of a colour study I am doing at university under the guidance of the tutors there. I made the cubes in Autodesk Maya 3-D, coloured them in photoshop and painted the shadows using their complementary colours, I hope it worked .

Hope you like it and let me know what you think in the comments.

All the Best

Pete

Thanks dude they seem to be working . I have started enhancing the effect so that it is more obvious that the complimentary colour is being used.

Thanks again Sham .

Listen I have started on that website that I wrote about in one of my more recent journals. The link to the first post is here [link] . Please please can you tell me what you think as I am really anxious about this?

Aside from all that how are things with you?

Ah Nice! Thats really cool that u got a tutorial site going there, yeah I like it alot Great idea Pete dude!

Things are going good, I can't complain much about it, aside from we the lost yesterday but even so we played awful it was horrifying. But yeah I'm all good otherwise

Thank Sham I'm really excited about this as I think the fact that some universities don't even teach animation principles is a joke, an opinion of mine I made clear during Ruskin's Saturday open day aaaww yeeeaaahh!

I'll be some more next week as I have to hand in this blooming sketch book we had to do, it was all about sketching a business and what it does all day, the people there and so on. I thought screw that and chose to draw the university as it is a kind of business, right? I'm not gonna spend money I don't have sitting in a cafe all day drawing people and...stuff...I don't really care for.

Yea I saw the highlights this morning but you did get a goal right at the end though not really a consolation, sorry. The hammers only drew though we kinda held on by the skin of our teeth.
It was a bit of a shocker chelsea drawing with Swansea.

Ain't it just, its extraordinary how some universities don't even know the basic principles of animation. I think what you're doing is great with your tutorial blog. Definitely keep at it.

Ah the Arsenal game, having watched the highlights on MOTD last night, we played so badly it was horrifying, don't know whats going on with our defence in particular but if we continue to play like this, ha. I don't really want to think about where we could end up. Ah well, football.

Yea I know! First I figured that they just could not be bothered but then I reached the conclusion that they just did not have the brain power to teach us that! I am going to do my upmost to make this blog the best it can be.

Ah well you can't win them all but that just make the victories even ire special. Nt to worry we all have off days though we also have really good days too .

Welcomes

my mum bought me a cookie mix box for when she was at work Made it today and shoved M&M's into it Now it is a very strange colourful triple chocolate blob My older brother told me to smooth it out but I like it as a blob now he's laughing because I keep saying "Meh Beautiful blob!" In a strange voice

Haha sounds like a cool blob . I would love to learn how to bake stuff but I'm just not that good at it. How has the blob tasted?

Same here though my mum is teaching me.

Well my mum and two brothers liked it I am still undecided on it. I think I put to much butter in since it was a biscuit on the out side but a cupcake on the inside.

Great! It sure is good of your mum to help you with the baking, what are you going to learn next? I would love to learn how to make lasagne cus the cheese and the sauce and everything tastes so good!

Ah ok well I think you make it better and better each time you try .

All sorts of things! I help her cook all the dinners now the only thing she won't let me do is taking things out of the oven, Pealing vegetables and cutting up the harder foods like pork, hard vegetables ect as I am quite accident prone She is also teaching me how too clean the house properly. since the way things are going the chances of me being able to get a job and what not are very slim so my job will be keeping the house clean and one day doing the cooking.

indeed! we learn from are mistakes.

Well it sounds like you are learning some cool new skills that are going to be useful to yourself and your family, good on yer . I'm accident prone too so don't worry about it. We are making shrines to people we look up to in illustration at uni and that involves working in the 3-D department where there are a lot of sharp tools, my anxiety goes way up when I am there .

I would love to get a job but whenever I try things don't go so well apart from when I worked with the park rangers at my local nature reserve, that was awesome!

I don't blame you! I would panic too but I am sure it will all be fine.

Yeah. Have you ever tried getting disability allowance? You atamaticly Qualify if you have Asperger's syndrome. its £20 a week but the good thing is that the job interviewers can't discriminate against you since Quite a dew do.

PeterStringer In reply to NJ-Shadow [2012-11-17 19:54:03 +0000 UTC]

Ok I will take that under advice . It is good to have confidence but I have precious little of it .

Yes I have that allowance and it helps with to and from university. My teachers at university have already discriminated me because of my mental health and stopped me from being the class rep, the person who replaced me didn't even turn up to the meetings! If they discriminate me again I'm going to report them! It just isn't right .

NJ-Shadow In reply to PeterStringer [2012-11-18 11:09:51 +0000 UTC]

Same here no confidence what so ever

It sucks the same thing happened to me when I was volunteering at a charity shop with my older brother He has autism too but since he is an actor in the theatre group in town he can act. So when ever he is in town he puts on his actor voice and pretends to be some one else well more like himself but minus the problems with aspersers. Its quite remarkable watching him if you know the real him. Any ways since my brother acted they thought of him as a "normal" person and I was the Freak girl how looked like the ghost from the ring films

If they discriminate you again definitely report them!

Yea but just talking to people like you and on DA makes me feel better.

Sounds like the people at the place where you volunteered were not so nice, we had a guy like that who was a park ranger and I just did not like him.
