Description
Pastel on paper 100x70cm 2004-2008On the separate pages, sketches of individual elements were created, such as the Venetian Mask and the Monarch butterflyes motif, which were then transferred to the appropriate paper base using a carbon copy paper. The painting was started in 2004 and after a 4-year break it was completed.

I love this, the colours and the butterflys are my favorite parts! The face could be a bit more symmetrical, But thats just my own thing. The asymmetry of the face has its own charm though, so I guess its not all that bad.
