EDIT: Wow! 100 favourites? How the hell did this happen when I just quickly scratched down some doodles on a paper and shaded them? @_@I feel like celebrating and yet not copying Banished Prince's +100 traditions so I'll think about it ....
I can give a million examples on why Zuko should never be put in a situation where him telling a lie is vital... things as "YES we're travellers!" and "We were part of... this... travelling... circus" are just a few of them. It amused me in the latest episode when Azula asks him if Aang is still alive and he takes so much time to be quiet and have a flashback, turning his head dramatically to think... no wonder Azula's the one in control.
Avatar and all it characters belong to Nickelodeon.

I would have said somthing along the line of "I guess your right, he really couldn't have survived.", so that the pause would look like you were thinking over all the possibilities, and it flaters Azulaa's ego.

I'm a zuko-fangirl, and I can admit that he's stupid... or well, he's just really really focused on one thing... himself. So everything else becomes kinda sloppy...
