While definitely one of my favorite Digimon, I can't help but notice how Bandai tends to treat Dorugoramon (another one of Dorumon's final forms) like he doesn't exist. The same goes for Reptiledramon and Grademon, Alphamon's original intended Digivolution route. I mean come on people, there's more to Dorumon's Digivolution Tree than Dorugamon, DoruGreymon and Alphamon. Hell, even De(ath)Xmon, another one of Dorumon's final forms, gets more attention than his other Digivolutions. That's just plain sad, especially coming from someone who likes (nearly) all of Dorumon's forms.

The thing is - we never see Dorumon and his evo lines outside of "X-Evolution" universe. Alphamon probably has important role in Digimon Tri, but we just have to wait to see that.

Yeah... but I meant in a more general sense. It just seems that outside of certain games like Digimon Masters and the Digimon World DS titles, the rest of Dorumon's DV Tree seems to be completely ignored in mainstream media. I just kinda wished that ALL of Dorumon's forms got the attention they deserved. Instead it just feels like a pick and choose kinda deal where only his most recognizable forms get any spotlight.

Also, he is the final digivolution of Dorumon, which is one of the most hated and wanted Digimon in the movie 'X-Evolution' because of his Anti-body. Big things come in little packages

I think it has something to do with the Anti-body that he holds within him, thats the red crystal on his head. I don't remember well though. The movie 'Digimon: X-Evolution' explains it.
