Daily thing number 900!
I like to celebrate milestones with memorable stuff from games, so I figured I’d draw one of my favorite characters.
Chapter four of ‘Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door’ is harrowing. It contains a lot of repetitive backtracking, deadly enemies, and narrow paths that make said enemies difficult to avoid. Fortunately, you’ve always had your partners to help you through these sort of trials.
But when a certain freak-in-a-sheet steals your identity and your friends, you’re left with nothing. Vulnerable and abandoned, you’re forced to head back to town only to find the imposter surrounded by your pals and showered with praise. Meanwhile, you’re trapped in a land of unending gloom where nobody wants you around. You can’t escape, you can’t get your life back, and you’re all alone.
…until you run across Vivian, who’s stuck in an awful place in life as well. She joins you in your quest and the two of you look out for each other when no one else will. She’s a ray of hope and joy in an otherwise bleak time.
