Some sketch critters from late last year.
Sandscamp: “A robot created to take the place of extinct fauna. It probes the sand with its long snout in search of worms.”
Decaying Shark: “A deep-sea fish named for the smell of its toxic halitosis. Its behavior has been described as ‘eerily puppy-like’.”
Kingpine: “A tree monster that commands an army of underlings. It mostly just orders them to throw pinecones at stuff - it gets boring out there in the forest.”
Ut: “Subterranean aliens that experience their world entirely through sound and touch. They work together to map out the vast cave systems of their home planet.”
Enfaum: “A flying creature that’s notorious for its piercing guttural squawks. It’s often chased away, though it’s just doing its best to warn others of predators.”
Spore Sprite: “A tiny creature that swaddles itself in flower petals.”
Spore Sprite (Uncloaked): “This mischievous spirit likes to lead travelers into the depths of the forest then reveal itself before flying off and cackling. It takes malicious glee in leaving them lost, but it hasn’t gotten to have its fun since everyone started carrying a GPS.”
