FABULOUS. I haven't been able to find a lot of good dynamic pose tutorials, but this one is spot on. It was quite exciting to be able to follow along with the video on my own paper too. Thanks for taking the time to do this!

You are really good at explaining and you make everything very easy.
By the way,do you think you could make a tutorial about perspective drawing for characters?Like the popular view from above~?

I've found it's much more effective if you start with the line of action, because after changing the position of it to what you want, the head wont be stuck in a position that you discover doesn't match the line of action.
I'm not saying that it happens all the time, I just feel more comfortable adding the head with the limbs, (kind of like working the whole thing at once, you know?)
This is kind of a to-each-his-own thing, though. I just thought I'd put in my two cents.

In high school, my teacher made us do at least 150 thumbs per project.

He was insane. His teaching methods were abusive and his opinions on life vs school were "school > friends and family the end." 2/3 of the first-year class always dropped out and the remaining were usually soulless workaholics who gave up their friends so they could do homework.
It sucks that I hate him so much because I wouldn't know color concepts, perspective, painting and drawing techniques, and human anatomy if it weren't for that guy. |:C
