Description Fan Bingbing (Chinese: 范冰冰; pinyin: Fàn Bīngbīng; born 16 September 1981) is a Chinese actress, singer and producer.

Fan has attracted notable media attention and received tons of positive reviews. In recent years, Fan received lots of invitations from lots of fashion brands, such as Valentino Garavani, Giorgio Armani, Salvatore Ferragamo Italia S.p.A., Atelier Versace and Louis Vuitton, to attend the fashion shows in Paris, Beijing and Shanghai.

How do you achieve these so dark tones with polychromos? your black seems pure black. i find aome problems making the dark tones due the semitransparent quality of colored pencils. any advice?

Hi, I too had real issues with this and still do to a certain extent. I asked a number of Artists on DA where I saw great dark colours achieved. I got the dark colours with lots of layering in this drawing. Really dark blue and then black polychromes. I now use Derwent drawing pencils for the backgrounds in my more recent drawings. I use chocolate colour and then black and use a blender to try and reduce the 'noise' the white flecks which appear. Sometimes I will then spray with fixative and then another layer of black I'd try a number of combinations on test paper and see how you get on. Another artist recommended I try charcoal pencils, but I didn't try this as I would be fearful of spoiling the drawing.
