Colour pencil portrait of Evangeline Lilly as Tauriel - Faber Castell Polychromos & Derwent Art pencils on 160gsm 28 x 21 cm art card


Actress Evangeline Lilly  as Tauriel in the second film in the Peter Jackson 's feature film adaptation  of J.R.R. Tolkien 's The Hobbit . , The Desolation of Smaug  released at the end of last year.  She is a Woodland Elf  whose name means "Daughter of the Forest", and is the head of the Mirkwood Elven guard (yep I get lost a bit with these things) any how is is a great movie, as is the first. The character does not appear in J.R.R. Tolkien 's The Hobbit  but I'd say Evangeline Lilly is a welcome addition to the movie as is the sub-plot with Kili.

Her hair looks silky and I love the color (wonder what conditioner she uses ).
