How do I get them working in Photoshop CS3 though?

Usually brushes created in older versions work in newer ones, but I'm not sure. I only have PS 7.0, so I can't tell what you have to do to make them work. Did you copy them into your Photoshop brushes folder?
The zip also includes images of the brushes. If CS3 refuses to accept them, you can still save them as brushes yourself.
