The basan, also called the Japanese phoenix or fire chicken, is a jack of all trades when it comes to bird. It has the crest of a hen or rooster, it's roughly the size of a turkey, and is nocturnal like an owl. One special thing about this animal however is its fire breath, it's like a small dragon! Whether or not it's able to fly is unknown, however. Its fire is a blue cold fire, and does not burn.
