To try the new camera, I wanted to make some magpies shots. And to say the least, I was happy with the 5D Mark II autofocus... but this one is ASTONISHING. So many parameters but they are all very useful. I was expecting something close to the 7D... but it seams that it is better !!!I hope that the picture looks good to you
Because their will be more to come, for sure

Yeap. Reinitialize the focussing process by pressing the button again is one of the most important thing

What a fantastic capture, very well done. I wish I could get such a capture sharp but my equipment struggles even with bigger moving animals (also the continuous shooting speed drops to 1 fps when using AI Servo AF and MF is no option for moving animals) so I never get sharp what I want :/

You are so true, the 5D MkIII will be my main camera for a LOOOOOONNNNGGGGGG time. I won't feel the need of something else for a long time as all the small mistakes from the MkII has been corrected on this camera
