Description
This is an old idea of mine that I'm stretching to fit this week's ATG theme. Pinkie Snake (and Chicoloo) using the Fulton Recovery System to get out of the jungle. An homage to Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, a game about knocking men out and kidnapping them with giant balloons. Sure, there's giant robots and Cold War intrigue, but it's mostly balloons and kidnapping.For MLP ATG Alumni week 107: a spy/secret agent pony! Pinkie Snake counts, I swear.

I myself am not as good as an artist as you are, according to this, at least. ^^
But with the little I know, I'll try and give some constructive criticism.
I like the way that you drew the orange and purple pony, her expression is really cool and it kind of looks almost 3D to me! The balloons on which they hang from are awesomely shaded, although the ponies themselves have none...
I think if you added some shading to the ponies, it might look a lot cooler! Since there are many MLP fan drawings in this world, I think its okay that it isn't the most original, right?
However the fact that you made them secret agents/spies is quite unique, me gusta! I like the top of the background. Can I assume that its made up of dust and clouds? I think you blended the colours really well!
I, personally, don't really like the bottom part of the background, but that isn't the focal point of this drawing, and maybe you were going for that, but yeah, just my personal opinion. (:
ANYWAYS, I really think you did a really good job. I will be sure to check out your gallery bc i want to see if you draw other things, too! ^^

it is not very original
there is a lack of shading and the lines are kind of weird
how would a pony hold a weapon anyways, it does not make very much sense, does it?
there are thousands of my little pony drawings all over deviantart and i believe that you can use your artistic talent (Which i am absolutely sure you possess) to create something more original, that tells a better story and is easier on the eyes
you can do it and i believe in you.

Critique isn't meant to come from your own opinion. Telling someone that their work is unoriginal and shooting it down with 'kind of weird how a pony hold a weapon anyways', just shows that you do not endorse any kind of creativity outside of your own spectrum.
None of your comment generates a specific critique; if you are going to continue to critique at least say something more helpful than 'create something more original that tells a better story and is easier on your eyes'.
Your critiques are not encouraging developing artists to grow; in fact you are merely shutting them down and making them feel horrible about what work they have put into what they've done.
And that is why I am certainly rating this critique as unfair, and are very confused by all who rated this critique as fair.

They'd better make sure a huge cyclone doesn't blow them into an uncharted island in the Pacific, where they can spend months rebuilding the comforts of modern society with the aid of a mysterious stranger they don't even meet until the book is almost over.

Scootaloo seems a bit nervous there. This isn't exactly how she expected to fly, I suspect.

Pinkie just hooked that balloon to her without telling her what it was or what was going to happen, just like Snake did to Chico.
The cutscene balloonings are some of the funniest parts of that game.
