Description A large heavily armored train bristling with weapons. The Panzerhandschuh runs along tracks the encircle satellite cities and boarders and will act as a mobile "gun wall" in defense situations.

Armed with a number of missile batteries, linear cannons, grenade launchers, gattling guns and AA guns. The Panzerhandschuh hits hard and can dish out the damage

Drawn on typing paper with pencil and ink, oh and don't mind my shitty insert/scaling of Vapor [link] next to the train as it could of turned out better I guess :/

Ah mines nothing like 'Fathers' train and I hated fighting that thing as well. That mission was a bitch trying to take that train down by yourself

Yeah, it took me about five trips to the in-level shop to finally kill that thing...

Very cool.
Just a suggestion, perhaps a plow/battering ram to shove obstacles/wreckage off the tracks(always something the enemy would target), the forward firing guns could be enfiladed inside the armored prow. Another thing would be perhaps to make the cars lower, so as not to present such a big target, the guns could be housed in flatter-profiled turrets, pairs to a car, so they can cover both sides.
Sloping armor as well

You can also have mobile pillboxes/bunkers that can be delivered to any part of the battleline via carrier aircraft in addition to the mecha, artillery, missile batteries and armored trains.

Ya know, during the initial design of this train I did put on a plow but for some odd reason I removed it. And yeah the train's car height may be a little on the tall side but...maybe it can also deploy small mechs or has larger guns in some of the train cars

Cool
I was thinking that ball turret looked awfully vulnerable hanging out front like that, impacts might compress it

True true, I'm sure those panels also conceal missile bays and additional guns, plus mech bays. But always remember, the biggest baddest scariest thing you have will always attract the most amount of fire from the enemy, why aircraft carriers are called 'bomb magnets'. So it's always a good idea to mitigate, e.g. more armor, speed, lower profile, ablative armor in the form of drone gunships/mechs, extra shielding etc etc

A tiger may be able to destroy 10 wolves, but in the end it is killed by the pack and consumed. But the lion pride working together can defeat a pack of hyenas...

Armor and guns mounted on a rail system, ready to deal out all the damage. Awesome work as always.

That’s quite nice, you don’t often see drawings of futuristic trains, so well done!
