I just beat IBIS for the first (finding this game took forever.) I had only the Karasawa and the Moonlight, after the back weapons were destroyed the battle turned into a very exciting battle where we were both trying to strike with our blades while dodging each others' laser weapon, the fight lasted well over 3 minutes of the battle before I was able to barely win with one last blade. (I had 50 AP left.) It wasn't an extremely hard fight but it was very fun.

Yeah, especially once his large 'wings' are destroyed, then its ground speed is crazy fast.

thankfully I'm more of straft attacking (trying to outturn him) with MWG-MG/1000 machine gun and MCM-MX/002's EO weapon on him

Amazing picture! Have you ever considered that IBIS is an upgraded version of Nine-Ball Seraph from AC:MoA? They have the same basic design (most noticebly, the "wings") Where Nine-Ball Seraph is more crude, and IBIS is more Aero-Dynamic

Thanks! I wouldn't really consider IBIS to be an upgraded 9-Ball Seraph but more as a 'sister' unit. They do share the same basic design principles like the wing like boosters, slim waist area and the male-female voices ect. IMO 9-Ball Seraph is more brutal though

Well, I got a question about IBIS. Is IBIS the sister AI of Nineball? Cause when I was viewing the video on the battle against IBIS; I heard how IBIS talks, and it sounds like IBIS might be a Human Plus, just like Nine-ball.

It is possible that IBIS might have a connection to H1 aka Nineball. Though I think H1/9Ball was completely unmanned just like IBIS and just used the voices of humans while working behind the scene thus the male/female voice at the same time. I doubt they're Human Plus or human at all for they were following directives to the point just like what Nineball Seraph said; 'I was created to protect mankind and this world, I intend to fulfill my task."

Hmmm, I see. Anyway, Nine-ball is giving me a hard time in Nexus, even though I use power type ACs or speed type ACs.
I don't know how to get the legendary laser rifle they have in Nexus, unless I have to complete a certain mission in Revolution.
But all in all, Nine-ball is kicking my butt so many times.

IBIS kind of reminds me of a dark version of NineBall Seraph. But all in all, IBIS is the most buttkicking AC of the Armored Core Series. Great work drawing it as well.

Thanks and indeed it does. IBIS and U9B are so very alike for they both have 'wings' cept U9B is more destructive whilst IBIS pecks you apart with it's ground speed.

Where did you find reference for this? I wanted to try to track down a pic of IBIS for a loooong time, its like my favorite mech from AC evarrrr. (Dunno whether to call it a custom AC or Super MT...)
I always hoped they'd give you at least SOME of IBIS's parts in later games, but alas, they never did. :/

Well you could use my IBIS as reference if you would like. I mainly used Youtube and the actual in game enemy(pause button really helps) as my main ways of collecting info on IBIS's structure design.
