Description The old AC Striker that dates back to the PSone days all the way through Master of Arena. As you can see, I completely overhauled the details the games graphics didn't show and was working on this for a couple of days. Anyways, this is probably my last AC Striker for a while unless a new Armored Core game comes on the scene, but for now enjoy the root of all my AC Striker(s) from this very first model. The unit line is called the Buster series.  Designed to be heavyweight bipeds, a Buster unit is designed for 2 things: armor, and versatile firepower.  What a Buster unit may lack in mobility and melee strength it more than makes up for with its rigid durability and multipurpose arsenal.  Busters are built to last, able to both take punishment and give it, and typically carry at least one high capacity weapon for those prolonged encounters.

Hm... I still need to get ahold of the PSone games. I have all the PS2 and PS3 versions. Still love Silent Line over most of the other PS2 ACs. Twas before the time where hovers got screwed by heat and area damage. Also had the last ammo backpacks. Though it was the first game to have my favorite weapon arms, the duel high heat/damage linear guns. Now those babies on a fast hover frame with the 60%+ backpack, equalled the end for many an AC. Pound them with heat rounds till their heat got to 999 and then swtich to damage rounds till their heat goes back down. The weapon arms got slowed down after Silent Line and the lack of extra ammo made me use them a lot less.

Dude, sweet! MOA was my favorite! This AC looks devastating.. sorry to say, mine was a sterotype (reverse-joint with extra ammo and the Kurosawa, all the +enegy optional parts too )

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

PhantasmaStriker In reply to Zaeta-K [2009-01-15 00:12:24 +0000 UTC]

Thanks! Yeah, ACMOA is still a great game:3 A Karasawa user eh? It's great gun, though seem a bit too powerful for my tastes, but then again I have a penchant for machine guns

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Zaeta-K In reply to PhantasmaStriker [2009-01-15 20:39:05 +0000 UTC]

I was cheap back then when I was younger, and didn't have the integrity to NOT use the most overpowered weapon in a game

I liked the 500 shot orange colored machine gun the best, I think. The 1000 shot had awesome ammo, but I didn't like the damage it did, no offence. Usually I think I used bazookas or rifles though

Very nice!

I'm telling you, those Nineball arms were magical in the hands of a master. I didn't have many other preferences over them. You know?

PhantasmaStriker In reply to Pendragon9 [2009-01-14 22:41:59 +0000 UTC]

Thanks and of course, those AN-K1 were one of the best arms both lightweight and had excellent defense. Also sporting a sexy design'

its great but if you done have AC4 FA will be kinda confusing story wise

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

RomeCat17 In reply to Snajee-lay [2009-01-17 06:59:39 +0000 UTC]

Guess I should get Armored Core 4 first.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Snajee-lay In reply to RomeCat17 [2009-01-17 07:08:46 +0000 UTC]

IT makes a little more sense, plus lets you get used to the game controls, but I warn you SEGA seriously messed up the game, Ubisoft did a great job with FA. AC4 has a serious lack of parts that FA makes up for but still lacks parts in my opinion, but FA is what AC4 should have been. You can build armored cores in AC4 then import yoru schematic data into FA, but you cant use them untill you unlock the parts required to build them and the FRS units for any tuning you had done to it.
